The Farm

What really blows me away is that i have a couple of square inches of bare live rock in the display and Chris is on here instead of night acro collecting.

White pointers all sleep at night and you can dive twice as deep for twice as long at night without getting the bends just as long as the drink a tsp of bicarb mixed in a cup of water just before you go down. Pretty sure you already know this considering you're a diver and all.

You should ALWAYS have a guy on deck above in case you do get into trouble (forget the bicarb) as the acros you bring up will bake on the deck once the sun comes up if you're unable to hose them down due to a tummy ache

Conserving our wild acros is paramount and i know Christian would insist the acros take the first rescue chopper flight out before putting his own minor discomfort first

Its not fun i can tell you that lol

Are you going to Dave's tonight

chris

Hey Chris, i don't ever go to Dave's unpacking nights so i always get what's left over a day or two later - i still do alright considering i don't see most of the nice stuff :)
Dave always looks out for me if he knows i'm after something in particular so i'm a happy camper.

Had the privilege of going to look and purchase some nice frags of Christian and Rick the a few weeks ago and Not only are they awesome fellas but they also no there stuff.
I was blown away with everything from the set up and to the condition of all the different SPS coral frags. You could see straight away by the corals that a lot of time and money had been spent in perfecting what they do.
From the grow out tanks to the to the filtration room a lot of thought has gone into the set up to help and produce some of the best SPS frags I have ever seen. The growth and coulor of these corals was amazing, and all under natural sun light. Anther thing I noticed straight away was how clean and polished the water looked, and there was no nuisance algae to be seen any where.
Before leaving I purchesd some corals, and Since they have been in my tank they are showing new growth and have all held their colour with no browning off at all.
So what ever Christian and Rick are doing, it is working and working well.
So if you ever get to holiday in sunny Cairns Australia, look the boys up and make an appointment to see what they do. Or if you are lucky enough and can get hold of some of their corals do it, you won't be disappointed.

No one is gonna get hold of any corals while Chris is hiding from work playing bloody tour guide for a day.......... what a joke

You should charge more for this particular color variant - it's rather tasty under our artificial lighting. Green hints down low turning to blue at the branch ends and bright blue tips. Purple red corallites with deep red polyps lower down turning to blue at the tips...............

Trust me - it is 'special' ;)

I just dead headed all the tops off a branch i have so it grows like a real colony and i'm fairly certain it's that color variant so no need to frag me, appreciate the offer though Chris
Once it recovers from the crew cut i'll show you a good pic and you can tell me if you think it's the same acro :)
