Sean, I was wondering what happened to you - just saw you're in CO now. You're going to have to change your handle. ;-)
Hopefully the move went well and have fun planning a new tank. My wife and I went to Vail/BC and we REALLY considered a move there. It is so beautiful. You can not put a value on living somewhere that makes you ahh everywhere you go. Never heard of Monument, though.
As a business traveller, I am glad I spent a lot of money on automation and overkill on my new tank (not that it's set-up yet). It really gives me peace of mind. The AQ can even be set-up to call you when things get out of whack. Things you probably already know, I'm sure.
Well, have fun in CO. And have fun with your new set-up. I hope your old system fell into good hands.

Monument is about an hour south of DIA, and about 45 min north of Colo Springs airport -- along I-25. We're at about 7500' on the ridge that divides the Denver basin from the Colo Springs basin... and we got 24" of snow this past weekend as a result of our topography!
The tank fell into the hands of a freshwater aquarist, so it could have been worse.
I have literally just begun planning a tank that will be 84" wide x 32" deep x 25.5" high (external measurements) with an external overflow. My wife gave me the go ahead after ordering curtains for all of the important rooms in the house. She also insisted that I use James from Envision again to build the tank, which didn't hurt my feelings one bit...
As soon as I have some pics of the space, and some rough drawings of the layout I'll spark up a new thread and post a link here.

guess you won't be able to use natual light any more huh? Can't wait to see what craziness is in your head for your next tank, cause it can only get better then your last set up. Were the new tenants going to use it as a FW tank? That much flow would drive some FW crazy is my guess.

I can't thank all of you enough for your feedback, reality checks, ideas, comments, and support this last year on this thread. I hope you find the next one equally interesting and original...
I've started a new thread for the new tank here. I've started anew mostly so I could tear out a bunch of photos of the old tank from my almost full "photo gallery" and make room for new ones without getting "broken link" complaints from everyone and their brother . . .

you need to replace who ever is doing your stucco with a qualified plasterer, nice set up though
