Just some photos from today that I would like to share.

The 100% crops of the damselfly's lunch isn't for the faint of heart. You can see each piece of flesh being ripped off the juicy fly.

Beautiful shots. I particularly like the dew laden plant (shot #2), damselfly #4 and the green fuzzy plant seed pods.

Terrific camera!

Your last shot of the fly seem a bit bright perhaps? Nice focus and great detail though.

All the photos you see here are shot with:
180 f3.5 macro (which needs to be fixed, the lens mount is coming loose)
Canon EOS 1Ds mk2
580EX flash

I accidentally left my tripod at home, otherwise my photos are always shot from a tripod.

ReefBase, I agree with you that the bee fly is a bit "hot". Unfortunately, the sun was so harsh that day, some of these shots were taken by casting my own shadow across the subject.
