In any event, my observations:
ATI Blue + and KZ Superblue...however even then the KZ has a stronger peak in the 450nm whilst the ATI is somewhere closer to 460nm.
The Puple+ and Fiji Pink are fairly close. Pacific Sun did some spectrometer readings and they are pretty close.
I loaded up a KZ NewGen last week and it is neither close to ATI Coral+ or ABS; the NewGen is like a pure white...the Coral+ is like white with pinkish tinge, the ABS is more like a standard 12K; very white with a slight yellowish tinge to it.
I also bought the Giesemann Lagoon Blue and that look far closer to the NewGen than any of ATI's tubes.

Kz Superblue is similar to ATI blueplus, Kz Fidji Purple to ATI purple+, and Kz Coral light is similar to ATI Aquablue Special...at least to the human eye.
ATI Coral+ is different to Kz New generation...is difficult to explain the difference, I would say Kz it's more pure white but I like much more the kz.
This combination would be similar to mine with 8 tubes, and similar to my photos but in the center of my photoperiod (4 hours) when the 12 tubes light up my light is whiter and more intense ... I think it would be this:
2 blue+
1 purple+
1 coral+
4 aquabluespecial

Where did you get it? It looks very conveniant for people without a submersible camera..
I googled spic 120 and didn't come with much..
I'd like to get something like that as well..

I also tried to google spic 120 and came up empty. I was looking at the Avast marine as well but wanted to look at all my options.
P.S tank is looking unreal as also yano! Not only is your tank jaw dropping but you have the photograpy skills to match. :thumbsup:

Spic 120 is a great product of a spanish manufacturer of acrilic aquarium products, I don´t remember his name now, but unfortunately not think you can get because I think it have disappeared.

I never had LED or hybrid, but I think hybrid lighting do not add up the advantages of both types of lighting, for example the assumption saving of LED and his nice shadow effect in the aquarium (similar to the HQI) disappear or attenuate with the T5 tubes on.

Which is an important point to keep in mind. We all see colors differently to some degree.
I have tested color with a colorimeter and a Minolta color temp meter. Every brand of T5 varies from batch to batch and they age differently depending on the season. Hot summer, higher ambient temperature, can lead to certain phosphors fading faster.
I would think the Aussie climate could either be a significant factor, or perhaps none at all, if you use some kind of climate control through most of the year.
