I thought it was getting better and it ate the first week. Spots were almost gone but as ich is it came back strong and the tang died last night.
The blenny which is in the same tank seems fine yet and never got any spots on it.
I really liked that fish to. I havent had one die from ich in about 9 yrs.
I don't think I'll be getting any more new fish for awhile.

Was your tang eating? Any fish that has caught something, if they are eating, make sure to feed them heavy and they will come around.

Yes it ate some and I did try to feed it alot with various foods but it would only eat a little at a time.
It was really small for a tang which doesnt help either. Just too much stress on it. I did feed it about 4 times a day and I usually only feed my fish once a day.
Ive had my yellow for about 9 yrs now and 2 hippos for about 2 and in the past have had other tangs for many yrs so not new to them. Ive also had them get ich before and recover so really thought this one was to when the spots went away but they really came back bad.
I also had a lettuce clip with caulerpa and sea lettuce for it and tried sea veggies and spirulina lol but it mostly just ate brine and a few flakes of food which I did soak in garlic.

It might have been better off in my 150 being it's aged and has more algae to graze but I was worried it was so small it might get picked on by my other fish plus my water is better in the nano.
I guess we'll never know.
