The little things that make it all worthwhile

We all love the hobby, but face it, it's quite a bit of work and a a
Commitment if you want a thriving tank. At times i know i get "sick of" water changes and testing, even defrosting food and feeding...well tonight i was doing a water change and my sole surviving clown (one jumped last week) discovered my gigantea that I have had for about two months. It was soooo awesome. I noticed it when I was nearly done and I stepped back to see how things looked and there she was going nuts in the nem. She even started cleaning bits of sand from it.

I completely agree. I have a tank with a main rock structure on the right side with SPS, but I am always looking at the small island on the left side of the tank with my gigantea and Onyx clowns.

Thanks for sharing. Nice looking clown and nem.

thanks...she slept in it all night..after lights out i went down to look, and the nem had made a cocoon around the fish. the whole nem was mostly open and standing upright like a daisy bent over, but one fold of it was curved around tight to itself and made a little shell for the fish...i was stunned.
we know that the clown has built in instincts that tell it what to do with the nem,..,.but how does the anemone know that the clown is a friend and not to try and eat it? so wild...its one thing to see other people's videos of it, but when its right in front of you in your own tank its just so much cooler
