Question re: multiple fish

Question re: multiple fish

Before I do something I regret, I just received some fish and got 2 MI (ordered a spare) and the thought had occurred to me to add them both to my 120ish cubish tank. Is this going to (likely) end poorly? If so, I can re-home one before doing something resembling dumb. Thx :)

I ordered two myself for my 220 they got along for around 2-3 months then one night they unleashed the rage
They are now living happily in separate tanks ... Well kinda .. One in the 220 and one in the sump below in time out

Much as I expect :) But I have them, and one can't live in the sump so both going in shortly, and if I have to remove one, so be it. Only issue is I have to drain tank to remove fish.
But these two just flew in from Hawaii this morning, look fat and mostly happy, so we'll see what happens.

Recently added a Moorish Idol and he was eating within about 10 minutes after going in the tank. He eats everything and now that its been a few days he eats from my feeding tube as I am trying to spot feed! Love him! So happy I overcame my worries and took the chance on this beautiful fish.

Guys, day 2, still not looking at offered foods. Grazing the rock well, but not enough to sustain them long term. How long typically can one expect them to not eat after shipping (arrived from Hawaii Thurs morning)? How long before I should worry? :)

Mine eat ON formula 1&2 after a week

Well, tossed in a manilla clam and they're happily chowing on that, so that should keep them going until they broaden their diet.

Happy(ish) couple :)

I got a healthy MI that was eating flake, pellets, and most frozen items. He's since been introduced to my tank and decided the tridacna was tastier.

Very interested in seeing how two do together. Mine wasn't eating anything the first few days. Then I tried short neck clams, and he went to town. its been a year and he eats everything.

I don''t expect anything good. I suspect they'll eventually fight and one will need to be re-homed.
Just an observation so far. The smaller one seems to be adjusting to the tank much better than the bigger one. Somewhat expected I suppose.

I started with three but ended up with one.
