I added 8 blue/green chromis that I got from Sea of Marvel on the roadtrip. Hung had a decent price on them and they were all healthy and actively schooling together the entire tank length.

They are sticking together like I hoped but only seem to stay on 1/3 of the tank. Hopefully they will actively swim the entire 6' length. I really like these guys.

Here's some pics and a couple crappy movies that I wouldnt recommend watching unless you have highspeed.

I've got 5 in my 75g. They school all the time. It did however take them a while to use the whole tank, but they like the one end better and stay there most of the time. They sure add a nic elittle flash of color.

I hope you have better luck with them than I did, I started out with a dozen in a 125 and within six months I was down to six and after a year only one left.
They killed each other off one by one.

Glad to hear that yours still stick together. What other fish do you have with them? are there any predators?

I love the asthetics of schooling fish. I wish my bioload could handle a couple more varieties. I'd really like to get some glass cardinals.

2 blue chins (male & female,) 1 niger trigger, 1 naso tang, and mated yellow stripe maroons. They all live together peacefully...

That's what I was afraid of. I read stories about people keeping them for years with no problems, and then stories like this where they kill each other off.

Did yours fight from the get go? How big were they?

I have a group in my 300. I think one of the things that help keep them from killing each other is the prescense of larger active fish.

It seems to keep there Little Minds on the area around them and not on themselves.

I had 6 of them in my tank with no problem at all. I did lose two of them (which I got from SoM of all places) due to what I believe was a bloodworm infection, but I've never seem them attack eachother.

They didn't fight at first, They were to busy trying to run from my purple tang, it was after about a month they got bored and started picking on each other.
They were about 1'' 1/4 long. I had some prior to these in another system and never lost any.

I had 4 in my 75, no real problems with them. Lost one last week cos it jumped out. Kinda sad. He was also the smallest one never really ate that much, was kinda an outcast, maybe that's why he jumped who knows.

They look good, I do hope they do well for you. I had some for a while, but one by one they disappeared?? They are cool fish to watch though.
