The Not-So Symbiotic Nuvo 8

First of all, hello to everyone. I have lurked here for quite a while, but never really posted much. I have had this Nuvo 8 going for about 3 months or so now. I have a thread going on another forum, as well, so some of you may recognize it if you visit other forums. I figure I would share it here too!

Some of you may ask, so I might as well just explain it here: The reason I title this The Not-So Symbiotic Nuvo 8 is I originally intended to incorporate as many symbiotic relationships into this tank as possible. Over the course of the past couple of months, though, I went through multiple changes and also realized some of those relationships just would not work out. In any rate, I love my aquarium and it is coming out great, symbiotic or not.

Nice looking tank. I can see you're keeping a very close eye on it. Everything is dated and scheduled... impressive.
Thank you. I try to keep on top of it as best as possible. I like to be as organized as I can. It helps to be able to look back and see when something was added or dosed when trying to trouble shoot a problem.

Nice looking tank. Great work and detail
Thanks!

Man. That stinks that you are breaking this tank down. This tank actually inspired me to do a bedside nano. Fusion 10 with nano box tide. Are you leaving the hobby or getting something bigger?

Nice tank. Schedule idea is great!
Thanks! The schedule definitely helps, especially when you are dosing so many additives.

Sorry, I guess I should have been a bit more descriptive. I am not getting out of the hobby. I upgraded to a bigger a better tank. All of my livestock has been moved into my new 34G CADLights Mini. I will probably make a thread for that one one here at some point when I get some free time. Here is a couple pics in the new tank, though, for the mean time. Cool to hear that this tank inspired you for your bedside nano!

Beautiful tank, one of the nicest 8 gallons I've seen

Wow thank you for the compliment. I am actually in the process of taking the 34 down due to an overgrowth of bryopsis that I battled for about 8 months before throwing in the towel.

I currently have all of my frags in a temp 10 gallon tank in the garage while I try to clean the remnants of algae off the rubble/plugs, which so far is going well.

I may go back to the 8 gallon after everything is all cleaned up. I havn't decided yet.
