It's about time somebody has stepped up in Southern Cali to host an event like this. Since MACNA X in 1998, this is probably going to be one of the biggest events here. I really never understood out why there was never another event here in Los Angeles? But I am glad there is now. Looks like something that will definitely grow throughout the years too :) From being to several MACNA and IMAC Events, I can see the potential here. Once again, hats off SCMAS! Awesome Job!

Eric, thank you so much for your supportive comments.

I've been preaching this longer than I can remember that Southern California is THE MECCA of this entire hobby!
There is no reason why there can't be more shows like this to cater specifically to hobbyists in the greater LA/OC/SD areas. Why should we have to travel to someone elses door step when WE have the economic power right here in our own back yard?

If the hobbyists support Reef-A-Palooza this August, I can almost guarantee there will be more (even larger) events to follow! Stay tuned ;)

Kevin, another thing to remember is that people from out of state are attracted to come out here for several reasons like the weather, family attractions and of course visiting local stores and retailers that they can only be imagined through the online community. Also a big attraction is the "See it for yourself" Wholesalers at LAX :) If this was a winter event it might be even bigger:eek2: Imagine this? Stuck in the house for 3-4 months or sneak out to L.A. for a couple of days in Reefers Paradise where the weather is 40-60 degrees? The weather alone is the deal closer:D Either way, as long as I have coral you have my support!

Already in the planning stages ;)

The only downside is we have to wait until August. I have an after-tax work bonus thats going to be eating a hole in my wallet next week!

There is going to be teh teh event at GHOs house next month too for those that cant wait and are afraid thier holes become too big for thier britches...
