The Sickness Continues

I made my last stand with the intension of doing a 2x2 cube (preferably starfire) well, I couldn't find one resonably priced so I went with an Oceanic 30g cube. Here is a link to the build, which is now the base for this new tank...http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1207853

After having the other tank up for only a few months, I found a very reasonable 2x2 starfire rimless cube...so..

Here I go again...four tank builds in a little over a year:eek2:
This should be it for a while, the original start of the sickness was downgrading from my 3x3x2 cube due to my career change. Well, it didn't take long before I wanted a tank with a sump again. The all in ones are nice, but I really missed the sump. A few tanks later and now I have ank I'm happy with...for a while:rollface:

I got ths tank for a song, so I couldn't pass it up.

Here is some of the prep work before getting it set up...

This tank has a hole on the bottom from the original owner (he had a closed loop) I redid the bulkhead and capped it...might use it some day but not now.

I'm setting this one up just like the last one with my DIY overflow...

Here is a shot of the bulkhead that will be the overflow. It is a little lower than I wanted, but I can adapt:D

very nice tank, beautiful setup...but are you sure that's starphire glass? Looks pretty green to me....greener than my AGA.

It's blue in the sun...most of the starfire tanks I have seen you tell in the sun. I also have an Oceanic and this is way clearer than that. Besides, even if it wasn't for what I paid for it, it really wouldn't matter to me.
