These are the pics of the stand that Lonnie ( IMLON2) built for Rich1972. This tank is a 29 g Tall. Rich painted the stand. Lonnie designed the stand to perfection for Riches tank and set-up that he was looking for. I helped build the stand with Lonnie ( By confusing him numerous times, annoying him the best I could, Forgetting to bring any beer then drinking all of his LOL over flowing his Ro trash can after taken out the water it had and last but not least STUPID-vising him through the process). Rich actually help do real work.

Thanks guys... I think it turned out really nice... I'm in the process of building another stand (for a 150 gal stand) that I actually started before this one... Took me for ever to find the right size doors, for the bigger stand. Looks just like my old stand that Dennis has now.

you missed a piece

I put a piece of 1 X 2 on one of the doors to hide the space between the doors below. This will keep you from seeing the sump or any light if you run one on a refugium. Looks good Lonnie.

Yeah, I know what you mean.. Rich's stand has a 10 gallon tank below the 29 but it is only for top off. So there is no light under the stand.

We set up the tank quite nice.. 29 gal with a 250 watt elc. MH Ballast, 14,000k EVC. he also has 2 18watt NO bulls for dusk and dawn. Moon Lights, Hang on refuge (not quite sure if that works on that small of a tank but it was a great place to hide the heater, and put some rubble rock for pods to grow), a 820 SIEO Top off system so he only has to worry about filling the top off tank.

with the HOB refuge.... With it being that small would it be beneficial at all to put some cheeto in there with the rubble rock?

Looks good Lonnie. If I ever get a different tank I will be in touch. Your stand and canopy look much better than the one I built.
