Brian did you ever get the biomatrix? if so can you comment on its performance?

Yes I still don't have all of the pieces to it but it is controlling all lighthing and pumps on my system. There was some trouble with my chiller as it is 220v and was sending noise back to the biomatrix so they are developing a filter for me.

It is very easy to program and very easy to run, if I had to do it all over again I would!

I will work on getting an update soon.
Just haven't had the time to do anything lately as I started a new job and it has me swamped.

so many directions i could go with the jokes about this comment.....

Hmm...not sure why I wasn't on your email list. I'm back on board. Love your tank and want to see updates

MakoJ,

Did you take any special consideration with humidity when you built your fish room?
I am thinking of adding a equipment room next to my fish tank. The tank is in my basement and I have had some trouble controling the humidity. I am going to install an exhaust fan within a week or so. But with the addition, I want to make sure that anything I put in there won't be toxic to myself or the fish with all of the humidity.

Sorry for the late reply work has been keeping me busy lately.

Yes I installed a large exterior exhaust fan which is hooked up to a humidity controller to help with the humidity.

Haven't updated in a long time and took a few shots before work this morning. Tank has been doing pretty well considering me not really paying any attention to it. I've move a few colonies around, sold a few and lost a couple do to me not seeing that I was out of C02 and a couple other mishaps.
Recently I generally upset a lot of them with low alk so I'm just now getting color back and a few still need a lot of coloring back up.
Also still dealing with bryopsis but now I just let it grow for a while then pick it out.

well on to the pic's:
