This is what i have now and going to swap the purple+ for a kz super blue.
Current setup is a smidge too pink.

Is the KZ SuperBlue equivalent to an ATI Blue+? Never used a KZ SuperBlue before.

Me neither. But I hear it is very similar to blue+ but with less of the green tint that the blue+ seems to have. The purple+ has a lot of pink and the coral+ has some pink. Having both seems too much. The coral+ is the newest bulb from ATI which is a combo of the purple+, aqua blue special, and blue+.

Is the KZ SuperBlue equivalent to an ATI Blue+? Never used a KZ SuperBlue before.

As with all the KZ bulbs there is no spectrum posted but its very close to a Blue plus. The difference I see and what others have noticed is that it imparts an almost metallic blue, like a Royal blue LED. The color to me appears to be a bit darker blue. I have two running in my fixture right now and I like the mix of them with blue +.

So far the KZ bulbs have been comparable par-wise to ATI, but I haven't seen any specific numbers for this one.

Another thing to add - KZ bulbs are spend- about 30+ bucks a pop as opposed to ATI which are closer to 20. Bulbs that KZ makes that I think are totally worth the extra money are the Fiji purple(my favorite of the purple bulbs) and the KZ New Generation 14k. The New Gen is similar to an ATI Aquablue Special with a touch less green so it doesnt wash out the color like the AB does. If the Coral Plus is too pink for you I'd try this one, it may do the trick.

When you guys say something is "too pink" I suppose you're talking about a color cast.
I have a pink birdnest that always looks purple. Never really a good pink.

Yes, its a pinkish cast across the whole tank. My eyes are probably more sensitive to it than other people, my girlfriend said she liked the color when it seemed a bit too pink for me.

I wanna know if it's better to go with the ATI Purple + or Kz Fiji Purple. They are probebly the same, but I asking anyway. Thanks
One more thing, in a 10 bulbs light, 1 or 2 pinky bulb is better?

The KZ Fiji purple is the original Purple bulb (Red and blue Spectrum only) and my favorite of the three purple bulbs. If you are going to spend a little more on any of your bulbs that would be the one where spending a bit more is justified.

Oh and for me one Purple bulb is enough. I tried the "20K Mix" that Reef Geek shows which has 2 purple and 6 blue bulbs and even when balanced by that much blue there is just too much red for my tastes.

ATI and KZ have their bulbs made by the same manufacture. The specs are slightly different and that's been confirmed.

I think they are both good bulbs but don't use either currently. I like the coral plus as an alternative to add some red. The original purple bulb we all used was the UVL Actinic White. It was out long before KZ or ATI.

Yup, ATI confirmed to me a while back the same manufacturer makes the tubes for ATI and KZ...

As for the the KZ Fiji Purple and ATI Purpleplus:

I have at home 1 KZ Fiji Purple and 2 ATI Purple+, not much difference between the tubes. In fact one of the ATI tubes (bought from a different batch a year earlier) looks more different to the other ATI tube.

The only KZ tube I havent tried personally is the KZ Superblue...I have a KZ NewGen and dont really like it as much as the ATI Coral+. I prefer the warmer tone of the Coral+.

Why don't you try 7 blue+ and 3 Coral+?

I think 3 Coral+ and 1 FP add too much red. It's just a question of personal taste, both choices will be great for corals.

KZ does like its secrets...I can't see how publishing spectrums would be harmful to business in any way. I have seen German aquarium sites that show the plots for all kinds of bulbs that were run by the sites themselves, I need to see if there are other plots for the Fiji Purple that would confirm the one I posted.
