I dont even have a tank up right now, not likely.

So I will be picking up my ATI PM 8 bulb on Friday. So I am wondering what bulbs to choose. It's a new tank setup. 48x30x20 I wont have any corals for a while but I do like a blue look. I would like to keep a mixed reef with a few calms.

What color would that set up actually look like? Kelvin rating? Pics if possible? I ask this because that is the same light combination I was thinking of doing on a 55 gal (standard) with a nova extreme pro 6 bulb. thanks.

Yep Front to back. I suppose you could use the halides to spotlight the clams and be good.

Thanks Grim. It's 100% price difference so I think I'll figure out a way to squeeze in the halides.

Do you a have a bulb recommendation? Thanks for the help.

I have a tek 6x54w on a 48x18x20 will be mostly sps.

I find im not getting the flourecence or "pop" i would like in the daytime. Can you suggest anything?

edit; i think the midday may be washing it out?

It's going to be 20K-ish but with better representation of pink and purple colors.
