A nova extreme pro or Tek light 6 lamp system would be plenty for that tank. A 4 lamp Tek retro would be fine also. A 6 lamp ATI is going to have to be mounted sevel inches above the tank at least to keep from harshing your softies.

There is no real reason to make an odd sized retrofit because the lamps are 18, 24, 36" so you just have to select what will fit in your canopy.

Yea i have a 30" long tank and i just wanted the bulbs to go all the way accross. I kinda dont like it now because their are dim spots on both sides of my tank with the 24" fixture.

Ok Grim thanks for the info.
If I went with the 6 bulb tek what would you suggest for bulbs to give me a bit of bluish look and that would make the corals fluoresce?
Thanx, Jason

So ATI Blue Plus and Giesemann Actinic + are basically the same?

I'd put the actinic up front so it's light is on the viewing side of your corals. Other than that I do see a problem

About all you can do to remedy that with T5's is to get retrofits and stagger the bulbs.

How do the UVL 75.25 and ATI Blue Plus compare Par wise. Also, does anyone still have the par levels handy for various bulbs? I remembering seeing it a long time ago but can't find it again.
Thanks!
