We let teams hang around way too much the last few years.
 
Wait; in other words, the second most offensive yards ever for UT? That's super-impressive for a coach's first game!
 
I am interested to see if UT will be productive on offense for the rest of the season or if it will be an up and down type of season like I expect. I am expecting Compton to be great some games totally off for others. I don't expect him to be dramatically that improved from last year. LSU/Washington was also a disappointment in the SEC but at least it wasn't a loss. UT better cream UCLA because you guys have some really stiff competition coming ahead after that game. Namely @ FLA,UA, and Ole Miss
 
Well Crompton already has more touchdowns this year than last year. :) That's not saying much more than-- he has already shown some improvement. He just needs to keep it up.
 
Hey Scott - GT is looking pretty good this year! I'll be rooting for them for ya on Thursday, but will mostly be watching the Titans game. :)

Nah, just excited... :D Even more exciting is I'm going to the UT game this Saturday and the Titans game next Sunday!!! :dance:

The Vols were the only school among 110 ranked in Football Bowl Subdivision that did not punt on opening day.

I had a feeling when we missed those 2 field goals that was going to hurt us:(

That game was good. I had a bad feeling after that blocked field goal. Got tired and went to sleep with 2 mins left in regulation.
