The Time Is Finally Here...

Well im glad that FL plays AL. because the bcs is not giveing FL any love. How dose Oklahoma jump them when they both win. FL should be 3 and okl should be 4..stupid computer
 
Probably has to do with the fact that Oklahoma played Texas Tech and Florida played Citadel... ;) I wouldn't worry though... If you guys take care of business, you'll be playing in the National Championship game...
 
I think Fl should take care of Al. Al hass somethign good this year, but I don't think they have the intensity of Florida. Every dog has his day, though. Either way, the winner of the SEC tourny should be a contender for the national championship (unless they also lose this weekend).
 
Lane Kiffin has been offered the UT head coaching job... He's supposed to be bringing Ed Orgeron with him...

I've heard the rumor that this will be announced Monday, but I thought it was only a rumor at this point.
 
The Lane Kiffin thing has been all over the internet the last couple of days.....with rumors of him bringing Orgeron (more likely) or his dad with him.
Some are saying Kiffin will be introduced Monday.
Still there are a few reports that Kelly is their guy.
Hamilton just denied that Kiffin had been offered the job but it's really hard to tell who to believe.

I think it's down to those 2 and Davis is out but it's hard/impossible to know for sure.

Yeah... Its been all over Sportstalk and the Sentinel about Kiffin being offered the job... Its doubtfull that anything will be official untill after "Phillup Fulmer Day"...

Jimmy Hyams is the one that confirmed the Kiffin offer...

I heard about Peal and the Wizards and Ernie Grunfeld trying to bring him in... Hopefully that is just a rumor... :(
 
Well Hyams is usually right. I agree that Hamilton is likely trying to keep the focus on this week.

I hope Grunfeld likes his alma mater enough to not try and steal Pearl away.
 
I forget who, but someone said that Pearl leaving was definately a rumor... He hasn't accomplished all he wants to here, and wants to leave a more substantial mark on the program... That and his son still goes here....

I'm not going to the KY game... Nana and Papa are here for Turkey day!!! :D
 
Yeah the Pearl thing is definately a rumor. I'm thinking Pearl wouldn't leave unless it was the "right" job. I think he will eventually give the NBA a shot though.
I'm hoping it's a full house Saturday but I won't be able to make it either. That's the longest winning streak in the country now. Hope it doesn't end this week. Maybe Berry will have 2 pick 6's:D

CBS is reporting Kiffin as the coach as well... $2 million per...

Vols did look good today... :) Of course I only saw the last 5 minutes... I heard the second half in the truck though... :D
 
It was a really good game.

Not sue what I think of Kiffin. I'm trying to stay positive. I know he can recruit like a son of a gun.
 
GT looked good (or did GA's defense look really bad)?

Crompton finally had a nice pass... proof that even the challenged can make some accomplishments, given sufficient time. Vols looked good (or did KY's defense look really bad)? ;)

Playing against better defenses is my guess...KY is 2-6 in SEC, and their defense was really beaten up this game.
