The Time Is Finally Here...

Playing against better defenses is my guess...KY is 2-6 in SEC, and their defense was really beaten up this game.

Could be......... KY had a pretty good defense though. Beat up yes but still much better than Wyoming or Northern Ill.

I hate to see that Clawson's offense basically cost Fulmer his job. Not saying it was bad in sceme etc......just that it obviously didn't work in this situation. To Fulmer's credit though, he didn't say anything about that.

Fulmer has been a class act, not only in the last 17 years but most especially in the last 3 weeks.

It was a good send off for Fulmer... I am still sad to see him go... I'm glad he won the last couple to leave on a more positive note... I think I would have given him another year...

Should be a good SEC Championship game Tommy... I'm looking forward to watching it... :D

Basketball Vols play Gonzaga tonight in the Old Spice Classic Championship game... :p

I'm really glad Fulmer went out a winner:)

it was really touching, there were a couple really good tributes on the board, and usually almost everybody is gone by the end of a game like that, but thousands stayed to see him carried off at the end, even in the rain. i wish him the best.

he's the speaker at the last quarterback club tomorrow. i hope they have a box of tissues on every table.

Lane Kiffin HC (Son)
Monte Kiffin Defensive Cord (Father)
Ed Orgeron , Assistant head Coach D-Line
David Reaves QB Coach (Brother In Law - South Carolina)
Dave Clawson Offensive Cord (it might happen)

I seriously doubt that last one:lol:

The rest look about right though as it's looking now. You could probably put Callahan in there at OC.

I'm really glad Orgeron is going to be the D-line coach and not the D coordinator.

Kiffin is already recruiting FWIW. I think with any luck we'll have a top 10 class this year and top 5 next year.

2 interesting facts for those that don't know. Tennessee's winning steak over KY (now at 24 games) is the longest in the country for one team over another (Notre Dame had the record I think until last year when Navy beat them). Also Ohio State and Tennessee are the only 2 teams in the country to never have 8 losses in a season (Michigan was the 3rd until this season).

I suspect you'll get your chance. TTU/OU vs. Missouri in the Big 12 championship. TTU/OU vs. Alabama/Florida for the championship. I'm guessing OU vs. Florida. And OU for the title.

I'm still standing by this prediction. So far it is holding as OU jumped the other UT (knew they would, everybody told me "no way").

I'd rather see Florida v. USC than Florida v. OU. Oklahoma will get their clock cleaned.

USC got lucky that Oregon State lost. That might put them more into the picture...

Still not right though as UT beat OK head to head.

OU passed UTexas in BCS standings.

Their defense looked as porous as a sieve against Ok. State though, and they are pretty good for a Big12 team. This makes me think that the whole conference is overrated (despite very good quarterbacks) and that the whole Big-12 bubble will pop come bowl time. I'm not drinking that kool aid. :)

That's what I don't think is right:)

The big 12 will have a better way of breaking a tie next year. Kind of like the SEC does now.

I am not one of those fans who wear crimson colored glasses, but mark it down we will give FLA a game and have a great shot at winning it.

Congrats on the new coach vol fans. I know how it feels to be happy for a new direction!

GT looked good (or did GA's defense look really bad)?
:bounce1: :bounce2: :bounce3:

GT has been looking like that all year when injuries weren't hurting them. They ran over 470 yards against Miami (and 407 versus UGA -- most in the 2nd half :) ). I was sooo waiting for this game because I knew it was going to be a good one and Georgia Tech would have a good chance at a win.

Now if GT can just get a good team to play in a bowl game, I'll be happy.

P.S. Go Dawgs! Sic 'em! Woof woof woof. :D :uzi:  :hammer: Hehehehehehehehe!
