The Time Is Finally Here...

Yeah, the Vol Navy was quite impressive this morning at 8 am... :eek1:

Adam~ Shut up fool... lol ;)

Joel~ So did you see the infamous smackdown the Oregon RB laid on that guy??? I heard he crumpled him... I have to do a search on youtube for footage... :)

Ya! Except the Georgian game a few years ago, I've never seen anything close to such a high scoring game in my five years here! - And this was Kiffin's first game. Now, just gotta teach the O-line to defend batting passes...

I've lived in this area all my life at TN football has been this good in a long while, hopefully this is a glimpse of what is to come the rest of the season. Can't wait for next weeks game to see if they play as good.

As well as they played, I'm very excited... :D I'm just waiting to see how they do against better competition... Next week will be a better barometer as to how far they have come, but it sure has been a long time since I've seen UT have any offense!!!

I thought it was the most points since 2000??? Pretty sure they threw that stat up there... They beat Arkansas 63-20 on 11-11-00...

Most points since 2002? Hope they can perform at least half as good when they play a real team, not Wk little girls.

Most points in 2004 was 43 against South Carolina, no? The stat I heard after the game was that it was the highest since 2000 against Arkansas. Looking back though, I just saw that we beat Louisianna Monroe 70-3 in 2000 also, which is a larger margin of victory and more points than the Arkansas game. Maybe that's just gibberish data though (volnation.com)...

Yesterday was a good day for the SEC across the board (except Georgia). Look at everyone who scored more then 40 points (coming off bad/horrible seasons). We play today at 2:30C, so I'm hoping we can continue the SEC win streak this week. Tennessee looked a little sloppy early on, but once they found their groove, they took off. Had to not cheer against Bama last night, which was somewhat difficult. They are SEC, though, so I can loosely justify it;).

So I take back any trash talking I've done. Despite the fact that Memphis has a number of extra players on the field in pin stripes, the Rebels are playing like crap. We don't deserve the high ranking, apparently. Defense can't stop the run, QB can't throw a ball to save his life, can't hold onto the pigskin... And I can't get worked up watching it because Jenn's parents are here... Arrrggggg.

You guys have gotten a couple of calls, but I agree, most have gone Memphis' way... I don't see an 8th ranked team though... Least it appears they're going to get the W... Theres room for improvement... ;)

Tennessee scored 70-3 against Louisiana-Lafayette in 2000, that was the most points scored since Saturday's game (still holds). I was at the game in 2000 and at the WKU game saturday. insane crowd. I was about 16 years old in 2000. The good ole days.
