The twist lock flanges are finally done! (Pic)

E.A.G.L.E.S bought a skimmer from what i read in the equipment forums

if you want bring one this weekend i will buy it

No I changed the design . I went with hose and built a table for both the pumps .So there isn't and sharp turns at all. Works very well .

But are the pumps on the same level with and close to the body of the skimmer? Less plumbing = less head and better H2O/Air flow. With the size of that skimmer, it's hard to believe that one 6000 would not have been enough...Go take a pic of it now :-P

I just turned it back on after dosing bak/food .So pics no good right now . Pumps are as close as possible with space . The one with the air inlet right in front of the pump seems to be working best . Going to add the air inlet valve that came with the pump to the second one too. I believe this would make it work even better . I will post some pics tommorrow when I get home from work .

Well, more is not always better- The ideal equation is the most air pulled in the form of the finest refractionation possible, coupled with the least amount of turbulence possible. The 6000's pack a serious punch flow wise...Ya ever wonder why Deltec doesn't use the biggest Eheim in their largest skimmers? hmmmm

True . But is nice to see the foam coming out of the top steady . It really is working well with two pumps . I was thinking that I need the up flow to be stronger than the down flow from were the inlet water comes . So I was going for strength in numbers as far as bubbles ........lots of little bubbles Its a beautiful thing to watch
