I guess, and to be polite I guess I should take the question elsewhere - just don't know if it was worth anyone's thought here - I'll go get the answer and report back - see, the only experience I have with these is unexplained tripping and that is the reason I never got one - I don't want it to be a weak spot in the system turning off things that need to run. I thought if it caught an anomaly and tripped but the anomaly was transient, that resetting might be a good thing.

Don't get me wrong, it is a good question and it would be nice to know if there is an answer. I'd prefer to reset it myself when I've had the time to analyze the situation.

I'm terrible with dates. I'm really annoyed we scheduled our house warming party for the same day Marc is speaking. I knew about it too, I just have way to much going on to pin down dates. :mad2:

I must be getting ambitious. I'm thinking about building a platform for a 20 long refugium gravity fed to the sump in this middle section.

I drilled out the bulkhead and power cord holes tonight.

I'm going to hang the back cord so that it looks a little neater. The hole by the bulkheads will take all the cords from the Koralias. One of my goals with this tank was to not use a background so that the blue wall can be seen through the tank. There will be no cords visible behind the tank, and with the depth, there will be no rockwork near the back. Rollin right along...:rollface:

Marc, you're more than welcome to stop by after, as far as the log for the fire, I'd take some help getting the electric starter on my gas fireplace to work.

I built a shelf for my fuge and ato with some scrap lumber tonight. I also finished up siliconing around the sump area.

I also tacked up the light cords. It's not entirely the prettiest, but it keeps them where I want them.

This is the bottom of the collection cup from my Euroreef. After I clean it out, can I use vasoline, or some other lubricant, along the inside ridge in order to make it easier to remove for cleaning? When I had it running on my old tank I usually drained out the cup with a turkey baster because it was so difficult to turn; I was worried about smashing it up against the sides of the sump.

There is a food-grade lubricating jelly you can buy from a plumber's supply. I have one, but it is unlabeled and it was probably their last one. When I used to work in fast food, it came in a tube like toothpaste. It looks like silicone, but feels like vaseline. It is probably silicone grease.

The sump will sit all the way to the right. There's almost 40 inches between those posts- more than enough for that 40 breeder I have. Yup, the stand is that big

Is there something possibly detrimental about using vasoline?
I'll have to look for that jelly you're talking about. How about K-Y Jelly? That's food grade isn't it?

No, I'm talking about a real product made for lubricating plumbing parts. I'd imagine KY-Jelly would just dissolve off the area as water hits it non-stop. In my fast-food reference, we used it on certain parts of the shake machine, which was cleaned and disassembled daily.

I could post a picture of it, but it wont help much since there was no label. I have something else I bought and have used from Home Depot, but I don't trust it as much. I'll try to find you that picture soon.
