Four days after the announcement of their release and sold out. I cannot believe that Eco-tech did not expect high demand, when everybody has been complaining about the wait. And then to produce a limited amount. They should have produced enough for all and had the inventory for all.
However, I am not worried, about getting the upgrade,rebate, and warrenty as some others have suggested. I know that both Eco-tech and AS will fulfill Eco-tech's promised upgrade and rebate to all who purchased.
As for AS the charging credit cards before shipping, I suggest that AS review FTC rules before some lawyer like myself gets mad. Just friendly advice.

Ha you know what. Everyone had the same oppurtunity that I had to buy an upgrade. So I saw something before you did on the release and I leaped at it. I was waiting to purchase my pumps when the controller came out and when I was putting together my new tank. So this just became a great oppurtunity to get it. I am sorry to those that feel that didn't get the upgrade but to call it bs that others did is crap.

I really want to make sure I don't miss out on the upgrade deal as I've been waiting a very longtime for it and just now found out I missed out on it.
can you please setup a maillist and notify us on the next batch?
Or just continue the upgrade deal until us less fortunate people can get in on it. It would really blow if I had to pay an extra $100 per pump which was not the plan.

all i got to say is WOW. i was told that i would be notified w hen these were available, now i gotta sit online 24 hours a day waiting for the next "batch" so i can be sure that ill get them
and imho you the company should eat the shipping, if they paid the shipping they would get a huge discount cause of the volume of items being shiped.
a nd for 3 small boxes weighing in at 10oz at most each shipping being as high as some people has paid...thats sickening.

I'll just buy mine when they are available. I don't see why anyone needs to come on this thread and vent. Rather than getting elusive answers about "coming out soon", you know there is one now and that they are going to start shipping the first batch of them Sept 3.
The cost of shipping may not be what you like, but oh well. It seems A.S. lowered the rate the next day, so that seems to be resolved.
If I have to buy mine at MACNA, I'll just do that.

Shipping prices resolved for the people patient enough to wait a day I suppose. They never answered my question about that when I emailed it.

i called AS ten minutes after ecotech announced on RC and they still havent gotten back to me.
all i said was let me know when your charging the card and i will order, by 5pm i decided i did not car and just ordered it.
good thing i didnt wait because they never called

I'm very confused (and frustrated) about how to get in the que for the next shipments.

What is this, the Nintendo Wii??
Why not simply allow people to sign up for the upgrade and take those orders as back orders? Then at least I know my order is secure and I'm in line to get one when it comes in.

This would certainly be the most efficient method. They could allow people to place orders thru AS with a cutoff date of "X" on the promotion. Orders placed by that date would receive the promo and orders placed after that date wouldn't. Backorders could be filled first-come, first-served based on the quantity of the controllers in each shipment received by AS.
Seems fairly straightforward to me. . .
I believe the company is doing it best, i talk to a bloke at Ecotech , really nice guy about 2 weeks ago , he told me that it still working on the kinks and hope fully out in Sept 3th,
It seems to be they need to test every thing in the under the sun, i hope this doesn't pis? any body off , but when a company promises any thing is the states and doesn't work like it should people make it there job to ruin there rep and the integrity of that company. May be they don't what to a promise a large quantity of Drivers which need more time to test.
I know everybody what one now, me too.
Last thing any body whats is a dodgy product tread on RC with millions staying it a piece of Shi? and it better to buy german then american.

I Agree I just purchased my two vortechs only two months ago cause Tim said why wait for the controller to come when I will get a great offer.So now I get on here today and find out all the upgrades are sold out.How come we werent notified first.I mean people that bought them before me should have been notified first.I just hope I dont get screwed out of the rebate deal now.I guess We will all have and wait and see.The other thing bugs me is that some people were able to buy them without owning the pumps.Thats BS.They should have made them give a serial # of the pump you own before even being able to order one.Just my two cents here for what its worth.

The controller's are not sold out. There will be another batch going up for sale in time and everyone will be notified.
