Same here. The Vortech's take my frozen food, slice, dice, and distribute to all in the tank. A $5 power strip with all pumps plugged in gives me "feed mode" if/when needed. Certainly another feature to stick on the list, but like I said that can be accomplished quite easily and inexpensively (as well as turn off other water moving devices) with a power strip.

That will only work if you are not using the battery backup units.

exactly, the power strip doesn't do you any good if you are using the BB units, as many of us do .

Because these things are not going to be sitting on the shelf, we're going based on the serial numbers provided on each new Wireless Wave Driver.

With our recent BB unit experience there is no way in **** that I am going to ever touch those cables nor modify the BB unit/system in any way. "As Is" is how they have and will forever remain on our tank.

If the driver shuts down to "feed mode", then there is no need/reason to try to hack a switch into the cables But that still doesn't answer the question for those of us with larger tanks and potentially mutliple master/slave driver networks. And going to each one is not always a good option.. I would hate to think that I will continue to need to crawl under our stand to unplug wires, etc (or crawl to reach a driver on each "network" to enable feed mode) every time I need to do some maintenance in our tank Not all of our drivers are necesarily easily accessbile, such is an issue with larger tanks

Actually, Tim posted that pressing feed mode on any unit, regardless of master, slave, or autonomous, would set them ALL into feed mode. So no worries there.

Not sure what the current status is on the feed mode. I think the current release that we're working on has feed modes working within networks. We all realize the benefit of having feed mode broadcast across all networks, so I'll update people as to where we are on that.

You could always pluck the motor off the outside of the tank and let the inner portion fall to the bottom of your reef. Once done tinkering, reconnect them one by one. :lol:
