Changed out my sump today to a Trigger Sapphire 39. The old sump was too tall and didnt allow my skimmer to fit inside the stand.

I might need to tune it abit,

Replumbed my returns and move the gate valve inside the stand.

You are walking down the same path I did. I have a custom emerald 39 in my tank. Its actually a 42 since it is a shade longer and some baffle walls moved and such but similar.

He is low in the tank and small.

Is your sump returns turbulent and noisy? I had to use the black foam to quiet it down and i get a small spill over once in awhile.

No my sump is not too bad. I actually need to shoot a video for the SC and my build threads going over everything at this point. I also switched the sump to mesh socks so as to not have to change as frequently...

flow is good and quiet. I did have to use the sponge on top of the socks for now. Once I get all my reactors plugged in then Ill know what setting I want to set the Vectra L1, right now I have it around 85%

Things are slowly being acclimated. I still need to do major cable management. At least I have all Apex items connected now, even a delay for skimmer and after main pump gets turned off.
