thick branched mystery?

acquired this from sand dollar back in May, 2004. at the time it was called the phishybusiness gomezi. well, fast forward to today and i don't think its a gomezi afterall.

really thick branches and a dark turquiose/blue make me think its some kinda tortuosa? any ideas?

I think we should get together and give a good once over. Being a nice mature piece, there is a good chance to id it with some confidence.
