Things I learned while making a sump/fuge

1. Do not cut acrylic on a wooden table.

2. Measure twice cut once..(learned the hard way)

3. Always buy more sheets of material then you THINK you need

4. Silicon sticks to everything... and I mean everything.

5. Silicon in a caulk gun is surprisingly fun.

Should have went with glass instead of acrylic since its a glass tank. Although the acrylic will stay in place with the silicon to the glass its not near as strong a hold as glass baffles would have been.

I'm not saying your sump will fail since many others have used the same method as you with success and no issues.
