My room smells like acropora. I like those guys from exotic.us or whatever. They gave me a ton of acro at the end for free, but now my room smells like acro. I think acro smells like canned corn and a hint of cheese.

This is my first post since Reef-A-Palooza and hence one of the issues weighing most heavily on my mind.

I feel so unbelievably bad for this gentleman!
He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met! He was genuinely sorry that he couldn't find his ticket in time and never once hinted that the situation was unfair or mishandled in any way, shape or form; his behavior was nothing short of honorable! I am humbled by his level of maturity and grace, in light of such unfortunate circumstances.

I wish there was something more I could do him

If you could give me some pointers on how to keep xenia, I have them twice, twice they melted or disappeared on my. My tank's temp is around 81 degree, nitrate is around 20-40ppm, everything else is in check.

Wow. As a hobbyist, I had a good time meeting and seeing most of the people down there. There were a lot of vendors with some really nice pieces as LA is the mecca for importation of corals. Thank you for putting it on.

On a side note- Are you kidding me? I remember hearing the vendor offer you the skimmer for $350 for the ATI. 30% of of retail is Pompous?

The "hot Asian" was one of the vendors wives, but I am sure you realized that.

The drive back to Sacramento was really nice. Thanks to all who are out for the hobby's wellfare and not just their own.

I was surprised that most of the attendees would rather look at a $10-$20 section, rather that pick up some rather rare pieces.

You are right. The most reefers were asking for the $10 corals. They rather bought the whole colony at OC Aquatic booth for a decent price.
