Thinkin About A Crocea

I've got a 55-gallon reef aquarium and i've been wanting a clam for a while. I've been doing my research, but i'd like some opinions first.

Stock:
2 Ocellaris Clowns (soon to be a pair)
3 Pajama Cardinals
1 Court Jester Goby
1 Royal Grama
2 Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
2 Sandsifting Stars
and various snails and dwarf hermit crabs.

Parameters are all normal.
Salinity 1.023-1.025
Temp 78-82
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0 etc.

We run a Marineland C-360 canister filter. The filter's about 1/4 the size of the tank. We also run 2 Maxi-Jet 900's on a wavemaker system, a protein skimmer, and a PhosBan Reactor.

Lighting is a 216W T-5 HO system. It's a very good light. The anemone made itself at home in a crevice in the shade. When first introduced, I set it in in the middle, not high not low. It moved down and into the shade.

Just wantin some imput.

I say go for it, get the largest you can find, over 3" preferable. Place in a safe crevice for it to burrow into, give it medium flow and some space to open and close.

the stars may be a problem, some like to eat clams. the only stars i trust are linkia, some serpents and some brittles.

I think I may try my hand at it. I'll be sure to keep a very close eye on the stars. They stay under the substrate about 95% of the time unless I put some liquid invert food in, then they're on the surface or on the glass. We've had them maybe 6 months, and i've only seen them on the rockwork maybe 2 or 3 times.

Thanks for the imput!
