Thinking about going back to vortech pumps

I sold my mp10s about a year ago to get the maxspect gyre. I now have one gyre 130 and 150. I don't really need both but I like cross flow from both directions. The flow is awesome. My only complaints are the cords hanging on the tank and I can't sync them without spending a whole lot more. I'm thinking of going back to my mp10s, maybe even mp40s (on my 50 gallon) with the apex wxm module. I like the built in programs echotech comes with. Also they're build quality is excellent. Any suggestions? Or trades? Both gyre 130+150 for 2 mp10s or 2 mp40s + cash.

If it helps I ran and mp40 and an mp10 on my cadlights 70 gallon tank. I preferred it over the gyre 150 flow wise. I preferred the noise level of the gyre over the vortechs though. The gyre you can run at a lower setting and it is quieter. Next build I'm going vortech qd. I'm hearing good things about them. I would probably run either and mp40qd on your 50gallon or an mp10 and mp40 dialed way down.

Thanks for the reply. My tank is similar demensions. Just not as tall. 2 mp40s could probably blow the water out of the tank.

Really. I have a 50 Cadlights and I'm going to be running 1 MP40W and 1 MP10QD on it. Would be nice to go a single pump. I love the Ecotech control. My whole tank is now Ecotech Run.

Ya it would be ideal to be all ecotech and Apex. The gyre flow is great but to sync with another pump it's expensive.

I ditched my MP10 in favor of the Gyre 130 in my 20L. I like the flow and the relatively low profile. But that damn cord...
