It's definitely not a Galaxea, but whether it's a Goniastrea, Favia, Favites etc I don't know. Maybe the links below will help.

Well, posted this because I was having a debate with someone who said I was wrong about it not being a galaxea. I knew it wasn't galaxea.
Here's where it gets juicy, the lady who posted the coral said she took it out of the ocean where she lives (Hawaii) I then told her that she cannot do that as it is against the law and is bad for reef conservation.
I was then labeled by members of this group as a "bully" and that what OP was doing isn't a big deal.
I was then deleted from the group. SERIOUSLY??? !!!!
Also looked into it and it is on the list of near threatened species.
I don't understand some people these days...... speak up against endorsing a federal crime, get banned. Oh well, at least I still have this fine place of level headed reefers.

It's sad how people break the law and put endangered species at further risk. To then defend their actions and attack those who point out their illegal action is unconscionable.
