Those with large angels...

What do you guys feed you're large angels locally? My blueface eats pretty much anything thing I feed him, so far, Hikari mysis, Formula 1 and 2 pellets, spirilua flakes, picks on clam on the shell, and Ocean Nutrition angel blocks. Looking for some more angel specific (sponge) food here. Anyone seen the Hikari or other brands besides Ocean Nut.?

Nori, and diced shrimp, krill, mussels, and occasionally clam.. Formula 2 pellets.. I soak everything in Selcon, as well..

I have a 7 inch Blue faced angel..

How aggressive is your blueface with the Nori? All mine (4") does is peck at the Nori only occasionally. It just seems to saturate and break apart. I think I'm gonna pause on Nori for a bit.

No angel specific (sponge) foods though? I take it he's doing good and no color loss?

He's beautiful.. And as far as Nori, he'll eat it right out of my hand, happily.. Eats about 1/4 sheet per day..

my majestic is so shy! she hides while i feed - i have to feed and walk away sometimes just to make sure she is getting some. she is one of my favorite fish and no problems with corals! so far... about 5 or 6 inches big. she is a fatty! i feed all kinds of stuff to make sure she gets what she needs. i have a sponge in the tank and she doesnt touch it either.

When I had my pygmy angel I bought a live sponge for it to pick at (plus it looked cool)

Jason, jeez, that's a big majestic. Have you posted pics of it? My blueface was shy at first too. How long have you had it?

flasher, I definitely want to get one, but have only see them at Vinn's shops and $20 for obviously dieing small ones is bit much.

yea I got it for ten at his place a year ago. My angel just picked at it as he pleased, you have some rather large angels, right?

Right now I only have one angel, a 4" Blueface. Maybe adding a flame in the future depending on how tankmates play out. Might have to bring one from down south on the next trip home.
