Thought i would share my daughters 1st grade project

my daughters first project was to build a habitat. lucky for us the teacher is big into tanks and diving so we picked the ocean. i had some dead coral hanging around so we painted them bright colors (notice the hot pink) my daughters idea and the used expoxy to secure them. then painted the shoe box blue and printed some fish up and hung them and then covered the bottom with dry fiji sand and here is how it turned out.

yea she has already started. she's got a 20 gallon long fully loaded with softies and lps. she even has a rose and a mated pair of naked perc's. i'll see if i can get some picks up of that tommorow.

Very cute! I like the maintenance-free / leak-free tank idea. Maybe I should switch out one of our existing tanks.
