thoughts on kessil A150 Led...

Yes two will be enough, that is what I have in my 120g 48x24x24 tank.....you have 56 gallons by the way.....I just ordered two more a150w 15k's to add blues to my tank, and to get some sps going

I'm planning on running 2 A150W 15K's on my 36x30x18. Hopefully the prices will fall on the 150's when the 350's come out! If anyone wants to sell their 15k 150's to fund the new 350's, let me know!:bounce1:

Does anyone know if the goosenecks are reef safe? Mine sit about 1/4" in the water...the black color has come off and silver is showing...

I'm in the market for a couple of pendants to augment my 4 Ecotech Radions - I was waiting to see if the A350's would come out at ReefStock before I purchased the Ecoxotic Cannons. I guess in this hobby - you can wait a long time for the next cool thing to come out instead of just buying what's available. For me I'm done waiting - Cannon's it is.

Added 2 a150w (ocean blue) to my 120g 48x24x24 today that had two a150w (sky's) and the change is awesome, I thought I was happy with the two sky's but now the blending of these lights are nicer than previously expected. I am working on a youtube video and will show my tank with t5, then with two a150w sky's and then with four a150w( 2 sky's,2oceans)

Stay tuned

Wow, nice dimensions , 12" is low but looks killer.. I used to have two on my 48x24x24 and it was definitely enough, added two more for looks rather than light. I wanted to add two stunner strips as actinic blue, and just decided to add two ocean blue a150w to my tank, what I ended up with are awesome blending of colors, not too white, not too blue

You'll have to contact Kessil for this answer. They probalbly wouldn't make the clamp out of anything but stainless steel. Any metal except titanium (and gold) will rust in saltwater including stainless steel. I'd put black silicone on the exposed metal and on any part that's submerged.
