Okay it is clear at the kessil facebook page that the beans have been spilled on the new a350 and maybe they will finally announce the available date of the new a350

Mine did not come with any kind of spacer period. I have a normal rim tank and I mount with the screws facing toward the water. Works just fine.

Well one of my two A150W units crapped out on me today after about 6 months of use. It flickers off an on at full power randomly like a lightning storm. I called up Kessil and they are replacing it under warranty.

good to hear that kessil has good customer service.....did it get wet or maybe a wire connection got wet, those things are long...i mean the longest ive seen on anything ive gotten for my tanks

The tuna blue should be out soon can't wait. From the leaked pics it seems the dimming is done manually with a knob. I was hoping to see a small controller to simulate dusk and dawn colors but still great addition to play with the colors.

I don't think the knob was meant for dimming like a dusk/dawn feature. From my impression I got from talking to lfs personnel, its to dial in what Kelvin rating you want. If you want your tank to look more 10k or look more 20k or in between. I believe that's the intent of it being tuna-able.

I don't know where you got that I was implying the knob for doing dusk/dawn or that one would do a manual dusk and dawn.

Correct, the knob seems to be a potentiometer use for dimming and adjusting the color temperature.

Can anyone else confirm that their gooseneck came with some sort of spacer? Because i don't remember any other parts in that bag other than the gooseneck itself.

Mine didn't come with one either. I ended up picking up a box of very small plastic shims at HD for 2 bucks. They are about 2" in length. I mated two together which formed a solid spacer which works very well.

I got the replacement from Kessil just a few days after calling them. All is good now.
