Blue Line Angel

According to Liveaquaria the max size is 7" and this big boy came in at 8" so does it mean this is full-grown and over-sized? lol

Hey Tim I think that he looks fine. He looks like he had some rough times during the catch and through shipping, but the crosshatches are very tough and his coloration will come back quickly.

Just make sure that he has a good place to hide as mine didnt and the emperor harrassed him too much.

Here's my close to full size achilles. Fishbase says 24cm and this guy is around 20cm. Hard to tell exactly because he won't stay still long enough to be measured.

Oh, wow, he's fat! lol Great pics!

He's gone beyond fat. At least you don't have to worry about him getting through the overflows.
Time for a diet. :D

Time for a diet. :D

Yea well, about that :o .

I have cut the amount of food I feed the tank by half but it would be a lot easier if one of the more submissive fish needed to diet. How do you stop the dominant fish from eating and yet still allow the others their share

I do this by hand feeding all the other fish and litterally pushing away my dominant Emperor. He always tries to eat first and I just push him away with my hand and allow the others to feed.

Does he go nuts for Nori? Veggie clip at one end of the tank, then feed whatever else while he's occupied.
