How do you connect 2x 150 watts MHÃ"šÃ‚´s when you have no plug - you use a cable from your PC, and just stuf the 4 wires into it !!

How do you quiet down your skimmer - you try to wrap some rags around the tube where it sucks in air !!

How do you celebrate that your tank has arrived - you dive in and drink a ice cold beer wearing the local soccer teams tshirt !!

How do you make your girlfrind extra mad after spending xxx of dollars on a RODI unit - you wire it up in the shower so she cant go in there !!!

My Fuge Hood since my GF said the light was to bright for the living room, it is just tapped on =)

If I can get a pic. of my buddys setup im sure you guys would all laugh at him...he went to walmart and purchased a kiddies blow up pool and set it up in his kitchen on the floor and......yes hes using it as a reef tank...he claims only cause his 110gal leaked..but I think different...I always wondered why he had scubba gear when living in upstate NY.....definitly no oceans around here.....lol..

I accidentally broke my calcium reactor's chamber and main plumbing and it's now pieced back together with some creative super glueing and plumber's epoxy. Actually, it's a lot stronger now.

Holy crap! That guy with the wires stuffed in the computer plug is insane!!!! To be honest, my biggest nightmare/worry has always been the thought of burning down my house due to overloaded powerstrips, etc... now that I read this thread, I feel much better! teehee!!! Great thread everyone!!! Wish I had some of my old pics to share...

I've seen put together things on tanks like home made skimmers with a broken collection cup held together with glue and tape and stilled leaked, but no pictures sorry, plus don't want to make hard feelings.----------My Lagoon
