Red robin acro

Red planet encrusting over a palmers blue Millie . The red planet is very high with lots of flow so not much green visible except at the base. It's pretty bright all over

Very beautiful corals and display mate, the colors you're getting are stunning  Those wild sourced pieces look cool :)

Beautiful SPS!

Beautiful SPS!

Don't stop posting the photos, people might not always comment but I bet so many love seeing your coral photos.

Can you discuss coral colours? Like at which point in your tanks life did the sps start colouring up? Did they colour up when certain parameters (eg NO3, PO4 etc) reached a certain point? Or perhaps a tank just needs to mature and be more than a year old?

You have reached the holy grail of sps keeping- to me that is not only keeping them alive long term, but also having a rainbow of colours.

Nice update;).. Thought you said you had like 100+ pics? I'm waiting...... Always check your thread when it gets bumped drooling over the pics.. Stunning as usual.

Probably no commenting because you've left us speechless. Amazing husbandry, coral and pictures!

Thank you

I wish I had some secret but the keys to success are exactly what has been said many times by many people. It's just that it took me years to understand probably because I don't follow rules well

Stability is it. Getting there is the trick. I had a 40 gallon tank for years that was a money pit because I kept killing things. I then purchased this 180 gallon tank about four years ago and fortuitously made some changes. Simple things, started using an ATO to keep salinity stable. Got a calcium reactor to keep alk and calcium stable. Started testing and requiring myself to adjust parameters until they were in a healthy zone. Nothing brilliant but these are the basics of reef keeping. Got a chiller to keep temperature stable. Got a good pump for good circulation. Got additional power heads for better circulation. Improved my lighting and change bulbs on a routine schedule. Stepped up and purchased an appropriate skimmer for my tank. Have a refugium with Chaeto for additional nutrient export. I still have to scrub the glass free of algae and scrape coralline algae off some of the glass. Change a filter sock weekly. All the drudgery of maintenance continues. But magically most things thrive and color although some take longer than others to color up. And colors change over the course of time, some better some not so. i am still not sure why, probably because I still don't test enough or maintain the vigilance required, or just slack a little with my upkeep

Metallic/sapphire Millie

Tank looks beautiful and congrats with the featured tank spread. I really love your tank and the colors your getting. My Blue Matrix is just now starting to branch out and has really colored up nicely. How's all the wrasses doing in your tank?

The wrasses are really doing well, no aggression and everybodies getting fat.
