Through the Looking Glass

A couple of front shots, I am not a big fan of FTS

That's just crazy.
This is so intimidating for a newbie. Someday I will have a tank like yours. One question to throw out. How does one find these corals. Not one LFS around has anything like this. Well not in CT or western Mass.

Here are a few more pieces:

Another no namer, pretty red thing And if you look behind it then you will see my jason fox lantern which is happy in the shadows

Another mummy eye but I just do not remember exactly what it is called

I have a TEC watermelon but I don't know if it is this one--alas I have moved some of these around over time and lost track of which is which

That looks like my TEC watermelon, one of my favorite chalices. That red with yellow eyes white rim mignt be golden eye?

In the holiday spirit of the 4th of July, introducing my Independence Day Tang

Yes, in case you couldn't tell, the red dorsal fin was photoshopped but hey its for the 4th of July!!!

I take primarily top down pictures because I made the mistake of getting a bow front tank. I love the look of the bow front except taking pictures through curved glass is a wee bit challenging. The other unintended consequence of top down pictures is that they generally are more vibrant unless of course you have starphire glass which I do not have.

Wow amazing colouration. Your tank is way due for TOTM!

How do we get about nominating this tank?

Thats just such a sweet coral! Of all the Millepora's the Sapphire is my favorite. I picked up a frag of this more than 6 months ago, but it is such a slow grower compared to say the likes of Red Planet and other Mille's I have.

+1 about TOTM. This is truly an amazing system. Love the corals and the fish selection as well.

A little growth comparison of my Jason Fox jack-o-lantern lepto. It is still on the original plug it was placed on.

I have moved it to a different spot in the tank, but you can see it now encrusting over the orginal plug--all I need is a coral saw!!! No, I like watching this grow for the time being
