Thrliride,
Wow, 200 mg/hr is a lot of ozone, I know you will be careful. With just 50 mg/hr I got the smell and it did make me dizzy, but I kept on smelling it, as I was intriqued by it.
Silly me, I even called my wife over to smell it, because I wanted her to be aware of it.
Thrlride, the carbon is very important as it will neurtralize any residual amounts of ozone that remain active in your water column.
Remember, ozone has a very short life in salt water, it's a gas that is so unstable that it cannot be contained in a bottle.
I noticed that my filter sock on the skimmer return line started turning black from the carbon I had inside.
Apparently the ozone is so strong it started to break it down much more than when I just have water running through it.
Then again I use chemi-pure which is very powdery already. I've heard that Kent Marines reef carbon is better and won't dissolve that easy.
Make sure you have carbon over any holes on the top of your collection cup, as it's here that you will pick up the smell of residual ozone.
Place a carbon bag over the hole and it should neutralize it considerably.
Keep me posted....
