Cubman777,

There's a lawyer joke there somewhere...but I'll refrain. ;)

jay24k,

From what I understand, the desicant can be recharged a number of times, but as you recharge it more it isn't able to extract as much moisture and eventually has to be replaced.

I have the 500 g red sea air dryer. I haven't cooked mine yet, I have about 1 quarter left of blue beads.

Overall I'd say I have had the ozone going for about 1 month now. I guess the only reason I haven't had to recharge yet, is that my controller shuts off the ozone.

My tank runs at target more times than not, giving me extra mileage on the beads.

Maybe it's also that I'm running a UV system along side with the ozone?

Who knows...

hey there... just set up my pinpoint controller and wil set up my generator this weekend. myu ORP this am was 165... My target is about 375. should i slowly bring my levels to desired range or just let er rip??

poksnok, is this a new meter? If so, turn off the ozone and dont touch it for a week. It takes about that amount of time for new meters to break in.

It can take up to a week for a more accurate reading from your probe(break in period)... IMO, watch your probe daily and when you have a reading that is about the same 2 days in a row, turn on the generator and add about 20-30mV to the actual reading on the controller by adjusting your set-point daily until you reach the 375mV range.

new meter.. I dont plan on doing anything til this weekend as far as the ozoneizer... its not hooked up yet...... just the controller is

Mine was right that same day...Also I would not "juice" the tank alot. I know many users that do not go above 20 mv and that is for a 150 to 180 tank.

Mine is on the high side, 17mv.

Got my new skimmer so Ozone is off till Friday.

Hey, FSU has one of the top environmental law programs in the nation. Without lawyers, who is going to take environmental offenders to court and legally protect mother earth? ;)

Ok, question all. I just got in my RedSea AquaZone Plus 200. Now it tells me to use an air pump to go thru the airdryer, then thru the Ozonizer to my skimmer, but it doesn't say how big an air pump I need? Any suggestions?

Thanks

i was told you can use any air pump... anything that creates positive air flow. what is the advantage of the luft pump?? its adjustability?
