I hope everyone doesn't mind, but I do a lot of vendor and product review searches on unaffiliated forums like this. I wanted to add one for future searchers.
After all the positives I heard about LA I ordered from them. I ordered a Saddleback Butterfly from them and even requested a specific delivery day.
A fat, flawless fish arrived exactly when I wanted it to. It was very hungry and started searching for food immediately. Obviously used to something specific since it ignored the Mysis if gave it. Two days latter and he is still doing great and starting to recognize some of the other foods I've tried. I couldn't be happier. If he dies the fault will be entirely mine
My only complaint is minor. I called customer service to get the shipping water s.g. so I could have my QT set to match. They could only give me the listed recommended range for the species. (It came at 1.020 if your curious).
Not huge, just made acclimation a little more complicated. Well, maybe I have another small complaint: I am afraid I won't get the glowing pride I did with my LFS purchase where the tang kept showing different ailments and the quarantine was touch and go, but now doing great in the DT. (ok, tongue out of cheek now)
