I understand the need to make it look more attractive to attract buyers. I do agree that the pic was fixed. The coral does have pink coralites, pink polyps, lighter body at the branches and dark green on the shaded areas at the base and branches. The pic from UC is more accurate representation.

From my understanding the first Tierra De Fuego acro came from wetthumbfrags.
or the world wide corals version.
notice that they both have a little blue.
Mine is still a 1/2" frag...
Wow, that has to be the nicest sps I've ever seen. Of course I'd have to see it in person to really believe it.

I would definitely like to see more pictures of this coral, yes this color combination is very common in high end corals, it seems that this one boasts a hot pink color to it. For instance my rommels watermellon has the same color combo but the red/pink is not as intense as the tierra del fuego.
Wet Thumb Frags is very strange vendor, yes some of their photos are doctored, it's obvious. On their vendor forum, on another website, it's impossible to get them to post a WYSIWYG frag of their high end corals when they post them for sale.
Their prices jump all around, one second it's the rarest maxi anemone for sale at $225 next day it's marked at $85.
What's goofy is that they apparently have several acros that have been adopted as Tyree LE pieces. Why they can't market themselves as cleanly and professionally as WWC is a mystery to me.
Anyways...I would place a safe bet that the picture provided by WWC is what it would look like under ideal conditions. They seem to be a very reputable vendor.
Your is 100% Red Planet. Tierra del Fuego coral is not having a lot hairy like millie.

LOL, never ID a coral by polyp extension. The difference in coloration between the two is that in RP, green appears in the light-exposed areas at the base and pink is seen in each coralite. In TDF, the green are in the shaded areas and appears even in branches thar are shaded by other branches. No pink coralites in these shaded areas. JMO.

Thats 100% Not Red Planet. The polyp structure is nothing like a mille, which Red Planet's polyps definitely look like. I have torts that have massive PE and so does my $500 efflo but I wouldnt call them mille's since they are all hairy. Branching and growth structure along with coloration is the best way to identify a coral, even though coloration drastically changes under different lighting combos.

You guys with the trade names crack me up. It is honestly a tough call because I've seen a few different "RP" acros over the years. I've also seen several maricultured pieces that look very similar after they have been aquacultured. After they haven been cultured for a year or two, it is basically apples to apples.

Actually WWC's picture is not photoshopped. They took the picture under blue reebrite LEDs,so the colors are enhanced by the lighting,but no colors were added or anything.
Every coral I have bought from WWC looks exactly as pictured.
IMO Tierra de Fuega looks like the better looking version of red planet,lol.
