I'm actually getting some decent coralline growth on my LR. This rock had ZERO coralline when I first put it into my tank, and here it is now.

It's going to be a mixed reef. But my overall theme for this tank is clean and simple... with eventually lots of eye candy. :)

Nice to see you around again! The tank looks nice - minimalist aquascaping.

***sigh*** I just lost my Tyree cyphastrea to RTN a couple of weeks ago. :(

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your cyphastrea tho.

I just got a new addition tonight. I'll post when it opens up.

A mixed reef is not complete without the obligatory Euphyllid. So I picked up a green frogspawn. :)

Not fully opened yet, but you get the idea.

Anyway, new frogspawn, so new FTS (the shrimp NEVER moves.).

And the orange nem is my favorite out of all the nems. :)

Thanks! I gave my drawing/design to OC Aquatic (near you) and they had Clear-For-Life make the tank to my specifications.

As I mentioned at the top of my post, the overflow box is teethless (to maximize the amount of flow and maintain a more clean look), so I had to add gutter guard to prevent my clowns and snails from getting into the box.

I didn't want to glue the gutter guard to my teethless overflow box b/c I want the ability to easily remove and clean/replace.

So I decided to go with magnets. Used 3 super nimble magnet cleaners from CJerome. They work great!

nice mini nems. mind sharing where you get them from? i have the normal green/red, but never seen the orange or silver/blue ones before.

The nems are actually VERY hard to find. Couldn't find nice ones anywhere myself (online or at LFSs). But a lot of reefers are getting out of the hobby these days and mine are from local hobbyists.

Thanks!

I'm heading to IMAC West in a few hours. Hopefully I can pick up something nice for my tank. :)
