Tiger Pistol/Hifin Shrimp Goby pair question

Nothing to see Move along
I just got this pair from a fellow reefer who is leaving town. They were paired in his tank so I carefully drip acclimated them together before introducing them to my tank.

When I put them in, the shrimp went in a hole and he goby took off into the rockwork.

The shrimp has already started making a home out of the hole that he went into, moving sand out into a big pile in front. No sign of the goby however.

Will they find each other?

Thanks, John

They should find each other sooner or later. It sometimes takes a while for them to do so though.

Thanks! I will keep my eyes open. I saw the shrimp out of the hole (in the back of the tank) last night after the lights went out.

I will keep my eyes open for the goby.

Do you think a 125 is too big to actually see these guys?

I have 2 antenna gobies and a pink-bar goby, all with shrimp, in my 215, and I see them every day, though how much depends more on how many big, scary fish are around to keep them holed up.
