tigerpyge on DD

The fact that it is from Cocos is good.

I personally gave up on Philippines Colini, gave them 6 stars conditions and they will still just die without a reason, better leave them in the ocean.

I'd love to get a Cocos Colini, but every time I had a shipment from there he didn't have any and I didn't want to postpone small Jocs for the Colins.

Good luck with the Jumbo :) , large Centropyge can be tricky, so I guess Paracentropyge are same, but this one is eating already so I'd be happy .

Yes, agree with everything you said...
Really hope she eats for me...

Hey Humaguy - congrats on the Tigerpyge!
Is the one from cocos a centropyge colini? Are they now paracentropyge?
I always thought this was one of the smaller dwarf angels...
Either way, please post lots of pics. And maybe a link to your thread :)

It's eating already right?
Should be ok now .

Thinking about it last night, I never really cut open to check any of the Philippines dead Colinis , I can recall 3, one pair and one single on 2 different imports at least a year a part.
I might try another one and if it will die cut and see if there's something internal.

If I have to guess I wont find anything, must be either decompression or cyanide over dose.

humagy I have never met you, yet when I see certain fish on DD I somehow know they will wind up in your tank! Good Luck to you!

Well, Aloha and nice to meet you!
Do me a favor, next time you see that fish and get that feeling, send me a pm and say "stop!."
Mahalo...
:lmao:

Yes, she is a Cocos Colins and I will be sure to post pics..yeah, this happens to be an enormous specimen and really should have been left behind by the diver to make more Colin's...

she apparently wouldn't eat for a while, I think I remember 3 weeks, though I could be wrong...and there was a point where they were very worried and thought they were going to lose her...anyway, possible flukes or something but she turned the corner..and has been doing great the last 4 weeks or so...
