Time without MH lighting

So I was just wondering how long my SPS will do in a 29 gallon tanks with only 110W of actinic power compacts. My switch on my ballast blew so the MH will be out for at least a few day until I can contact the company and get a replacement part. I was just wondering if I should take the few SPS I have in this tank out and put it in my other tank that has a halide going or if they will be fine for about 4 more days until the MH it back up and running.

depends how healthy they are... your setup looks good though, they should be alright. I'm sure it storms over ther reefs for 4 days in a row where the corals would not receive much light.

Actually when it storms you still get a good amount of radiation that penetrates the clouds so they are still getting a ton of light on the reef despite rain and coulds.

they will brown after about a week. Trust me on that I am doing drywall work and had to move my tank. That was a week ago and they are all brown now sitting under my coralife PC fixture :(

Well they still have good color and I took things into my own hands and replaced the switch with a swich from Lowes instead of getting a proper replacement from PFO. The only thing is I replaced a 14A switch with a 10A switch so I hope I am safe on the fire end of things. I was guessing the ballast only draws 1 - 2A though.

Re-acclimate them slowly again.

It never hurts to go slow with the lighting as once they bleach it's very difficult if not impossible to turn back and fix.
