tiny mantis crawled out of my rock...

at first I thought it was a pod, but he's about 1/2" long and clearly has the eyestalks and the front legs of a mantis. No idea what kind, no idea what to do with it. Currently it's swimming in a bowl on my kitchen counter.

I don't want him, but they are so cool I just can't make myself destroy him.

Anyone live in Portland, OR want a baby mantis?

dunno where the rock is from. It's a frag that a ricorrdia came on. He's way too small to ship cross country in winter anyways.

Don't know the species, but he is blue with reddish legs. I'm still debating finding some way to keep him.

I would keep him. Put him in a breeder box with a piece of pipe of rock rubble.
