tiny white snails?

I have hundreds of tiny white snails all over my tank. They come out after lights out and crawl over my rocks, sand, and glass. I know what your thinking, rice snails, but I haven't introduced anything new in over a year and my only clam over 4inches is doing fine and the snails are never on it. I do have ceriths in the tank but not many and have had other snails spawn and reproduce before. Anyone know how long it takes for ceriths to reach adult size? Any ideas on what they could be. If there not ceriths its scary to think you could have something in your tank laying dormant then boom there everywhere.

Stuff can show up for years. Have you added any snails or crabs in the past year? I just put in a few hermits and snails in my new tank today from an LFS, placing them in one-by-one because I thought I saw a tiny snail in the bag too, and sure enough, there's now a tiny snail in my tank LOL.

Do they look like this? If so..colonista snails. I got them with some LR.

I have seen those before in my tank, but the ones I have look like baby ceriths they just aren't growing any bigger than 1/8 inch.
