Tips and Tricks on Creating Amazing Aquascapes

No feedback? Sucks? I can take it.

The scape actually looks pretty good with one exception. The pointy rock on the left doesn't look right. It looks like an attempt to cover the overflow, and distracts from the nice mounds you have in the sand. Perhaps you could incorporate it into the base of one of the existing piles. Otherwise, I'd just do without.

So I finally got off my butt and made it happen. What do you guys think?
No water so far.. but its getting there.

I would remove the small pieces out front and leave as much sand free as possible. When your corals start growing out your rock becomes much more massive and small details that now look great will disappear. Be sure to angle at least one of your three "islands" to create more depth and variation. I like how you are thinking.

Any comments for my rockcape? its an "almost 2 ft cube"

there's actually 3 rock formations 1 pillar on the left and 2 other rock works on the right. Not sure if you can make it out but the formation in the back(right) has a lot of nice crevices and nooks.

I'm thinking of slicing away the bottom portion of the rock work in front(right) to lower its height so that more of the rockwork in the back can be seen.

what do you guys think?

PS: pardon the algae, dirty backwall and errrr blue tang:hmm2:

Here are some pictures of my scape done with live rock and cement;
